Do you need Elementor Pro?

Last checked:

Not to build a complete site with Themeasy: the theme builder, the widgets, the WooCommerce templates and the motion controls all run on the free version of Elementor. Elementor Pro still does a few things Themeasy doesn't, though. Here is the honest split, so you can pick.

The short answer

You can skip Elementor Pro if…

you build on a Themeasy theme and want your header, footer, archives and 404 designed in Elementor, a deep widget library with GSAP motion, a styled WooCommerce store and a template library that inserts in one click, all on free Elementor.

Elementor Pro is the better fit if…

you need a theme builder on a theme that isn't Themeasy's, a native form builder with its own integrations, popups that open on triggers such as exit intent or scroll, or Elementor's AI credits.

You can also run both.

Themeasy steps aside where Elementor Pro owns a feature, so adding Pro later does not break your site.

The Elementor Pro column comes from its maker's own pages, read on 30 October 2026: Elementor pricing, Elementor Pro, Elementor FAQ, Elementor on WordPress.org. The Free Elementor + Themeasy column comes from our own feature pages.

Themeasy is an independent plugin for Elementor, not affiliated with or endorsed by Elementor.

Where Elementor Pro is the better pick

If your site runs on a theme that isn't Themeasy's and you want Elementor to build its header and footer, Elementor Pro's theme builder is the one that works there. The same goes for forms that send to a CRM without another plugin, popups that open on exit intent or after a scroll, and AI writing inside the editor. Themeasy doesn't do those today, and we'd rather tell you than have you find out after buying.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Does Themeasy work without Elementor Pro?

Yes — free Elementor is all Themeasy needs. The theme builder, the widgets, the WooCommerce templates and the motion controls that usually push builders into an Elementor Pro upgrade are already inside the plugin.

Does the Themeasy theme builder work on any theme?

No. It runs on Themeasy themes, because its sections fill slots the theme provides. Pro and Agency include every Themeasy theme, and a premium theme bought on its own carries Theme Builder too.

Can I try Themeasy before I pay?

Yes — the Widgets plan starts with a 3-day free trial. You add a card at checkout and pay nothing that day; unless you cancel within the 3 days, the first year ($89) is charged when the trial ends. Pro and Agency are bought directly and carry the 7-day money-back guarantee.

Is Themeasy made by Elementor?

No. Themeasy is an independent plugin built for Elementor by its own team, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Elementor.
